ABSTRACT
In the ever-growing movement of virtuality, we need to find a way to link long distance discussions with architecture. The project proposes to create virtually connected extensions to the cantonal parliaments of Switzerland to help them coordinate and promote inter-cantonal work. These 26 additions are equipped with modular spaces enclosed with silicone rod curtains to offer multiple uses rooms. On the curtains, a live video of the connected extensions is projected with a background representing the architecture of the connected building. At the same time a background of your own building appears behind you. The roof of the structure provides all the technical equipment to stage the space formed. All this creates interior spaces surrounded with architecture of Switzerland for cantonal politicians to connect and work together.

Congrats on the work ! I loved the transformativ system that you present! I think it is really rich and well thought. The mutlitple technical issue should not have been easy to tackle and we see that you put a great amount of reflexion to it. I would like to see how you could develop your project further with even more configuration. But anyway great job !

I really like how your project is modular both in plan and floor, with the system of curtains and furniture coming out of the ground. Also, it is very useful as you say, Cantons often have to work in coordination with each other and a space like this seems to be needed.
To continue further, it could be interesting to see. if the modularity could also happen in the ceiling of the pavilion, either through a change of height, projection, or anything else.

Good work, I realy apreciate that you clearly show all those possibilities the project offers and the system you develop is overall working very well ! The only confusing aspect of the project is how and what you can do in the VR. I think it could have been developped a bit more to strengten your proposal.
But still, well done !

I really like your approach about the project. It highlights the cantonal parliament and its importance in swiss democracy. All the elements are well thought out, such as the foldable furniture and the lightweight curtains. It would be nice to see how it can be adapted for other cantons. Nice work !

Nice project! I like that you decided to further work with the cantonal parliaments to provide them a phsyical space which encourages easier engagement with each other. I also like that they are modular and that the curtains also display images of Switzerland/ the other parliaments. I had the thought that besides this imagery, for comprehension the curtains could also display additional info about the current person speaking on the other end.
